It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year....Or Is It???

Oops..missed a day.  How did that happen so soon...I will have to make it up with a double post!

Today the kids went back to school.  Which at first I was thinking...great....quiet house once again!  But then I slowly realized...that meant homework (times 3), getting up early, going to bed early, making lunches etc.  I am not really sure which one is better.  I will say that it was nice to have the house to myself even if only for a few housrs.

This picture is of my sons backback....all ready to go.

I have a young Jason Mraz fan...just like his mom!

A Sundae Breakfast On Saturday

So we were supposed to have a wonderful New Years Day meal yesterday but due to a late trip to the grocery store and 5 overtired people we decided to do it today instead. But, we had also bought ingredients for Hot Fudge Sundae's! My daughter fell asleep early but around midnight she came into my room crying that we didn't get to make sundae's and that she wanted one right then. Since I was half asleep by this point I promised her sundae's for breakfast. Why Not!!

The way I look at it is what's the difference if she has it at 9am or 9pm. I mean really....

So sure enough the first thing she remembers when she wakes up this morning is that we are having ice cream for breakfast and she is ready!! Today's picture is a picture of her sundae. After watching the kids enjoy them so much I decided to make one for myself too!

Happy New Year!! 2010

Hello blogisphere!! It is here!! Day one of my big goal for the new year! Sad thing is that I almost forgot...not off to a good start! I hope as the year goes on it will get easier.

We spent New Years Day at Universal Studios yesterday. I had not been there in probably 15 years! Boy things had changed. For starters there were a couple new rides. The Simpsons, Jurassic Park and The Mummy. They were all pretty fun. After the park closed we walked around Universal City Walk. It is an amazing place and where todays picture is from. They have tons of great shops, restaurants, snack shops etc. Neon lights and beautiful people everywhere! Some of our favorites was the sock shop where yes they only sell socks.....for about $15 a pair! We also enjoyed It's Sugar! It's the most wonderful candy shop. They sell it by the bar, bag, bunch, foot, pound etc. It is my dream come true! Love it there! We got home just in time to ring in the new year!

Happy New Year Everyone!!
